Véra Kempf, 32, is the co-founder of SINGULART. Growing up in a family of teachers, Véra aspired to a career in international relations and studied for a degree at the Institut d’études Politiques (known as Sciences Po) in Paris.
In 2017, Véra met Denis Fayolle, then Brice Lecompte, and the three of them founded SINGULART: an online contemporary art and design gallery that disrupts the codes of the traditional art market. Putting diversity, inclusion, and transparency at the heart of her business model, together with a sincere ambition to help contemporary artists and designers get their work out into the world, Véra has watched SINGULART rapidly make its mark internationally. Today, the scale-up connects more than 10,000 artists and designers from 150 countries to clients around the world, and Véra heads a team of 140 people split between Paris and Berlin.

Julie Davico-Pahin, a farmer’s daughter and former journalist, created Ombrea with her father at 24 years old.The start-up uses technology based on artificial intelligence (AI) to adapt the quantity of light received by plants growing in an open field environment.
Ombrea is developing a revolutionary solution to protect field crops from the vagaries of the weather: a system of intelligent shades where the movement is controlled automatically, based on an analysis of meteorological conditions and plant needs in real time.

Data is power, sharing data is super power.
