Extra Brut Extra Old
Extra Brut Extra Old is a cuvée collection crafted from a unique blend of prestigious old reserve wines.
THE BLEND
In 2019, Veuve Clicquot unveiled a second blending to the Extra Brut Extra Old cuvée collection. Extra Brut Extra Old 2 is a complex, nuanced blend of eight of the House’s prestigious reserve wines - 1990, 1998, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, aged for a minimum of five years. Pinot Noir dominates the blend (45%) and provides the structure that is so typically Clicquot, followed by Chardonnay (27%) that adds finesse and elegance essential in a perfectly balanced wine, and then Meunier (28%) that rounds out the blend. The ageing potential is more than 15 years.
Contains sulphites.
